The KA-EN200G H.265/HEVC Streaming Encoder provides high compression efficiency when used with JVC's GY-HC500, GY-HC550, and GY-HC900 CONNECTED CAM camcorders. HEVC is far more efficient than the widely used H.264/AVC compression standard. Inserting this adapter into the expansion slot of the camcorder enables 1080p streaming using the H.265/HEVC codec. This results in higher quality images with reduced bandwidth, allowing you to use 10-bit, 4:2:2 sampling rather than typical 8-bit, 4:2:0. The KA-EN200G encodes video with standard, HLG, or J-Log gamma.

- H.265 compression produces similar quality to H.264 at up to 50% of the bitrate or much higher quality at the same bitrate
- Supports contribution quality 1920 x 1080, 4:2:2, 10-bit signals at up to 24Mb/s
- Encodes HDR video with HLG or J-Log gamma
- Supports UDP, Zixi, and SRT streaming protocols
- For decoding,JVC recommends the BR-DE900 decoder,sold separately
