The Dotworkz D3 CoolDome™ 12VDC is the industry’s premium active cooling housing and smart security cabinet for protecting PTZ, AI, multi-sensor, and broadcast cameras in the world’s hottest and harshest outdoor environments. Featuring dual solid-state Peltier cooling modules, the D3 CoolDome delivers unmatched thermal management—keeping cameras and internal equipment running reliably even in direct sun and temperatures exceeding 120°F. With approximately 40% more internal space than the D2 CoolDome, the D3 provides a flexible platform for system integrators to deploy complete edge-based surveillance and smart city solutions. The D3 CoolDome’s IP66-rated weatherproof and dustproof enclosure is built from high-impact, non-corrosive thermoplastic and engineered for mission-critical environments such as desert security, traffic infrastructure, airports, ports, border protection, and smart cities. The spacious interior is often customized to include microphones, LED lights, PoE power, AI computers, 5G radios, cellular routers, external/internal antennas, small NVRs, switches, and UPS systems—transforming the D3 into a fully integrated edge security cabinet. The D3 features a stabilized internal camera mount and is compatible with Axis PTZ cameras, Axis mini-dome PTZ, Axis multi-sensor cameras (V5925, V5938, Q6135-LE, and more), as well as specialty and broadcast models. IK10-rated vandal protection ensures performance even in high-risk public environments.
